How to care for your Bouquets?

Every bouquet is different but a good rule of thumb is cut your stems when home at an angle and remove any leaves that are below the water line. Ensure you change the water of the vase every 2 days and remove any wilting blooms. The correct vase is key, do not over crowd the vase as this will lead to a shorter life span of the blooms. Cut flowers prefer a cooler temperature, remember this when picking your perfect placement.

The general rule of thumb when filling the vase is to fill it to about ⅔ full, however soft stems such as tulips need about half a vase whereas water loving flowers like hydrangeas need up to ¾ full and a taller vase. Make sure leaves are not in the vase to reduce chances of bacterial growth.

Dry Flower bouquets need to be kept away from damp or water sources, if not they will not last and can start to deteriorate, go limp and potentially grow mould.
